Short-Term Disability
Through the Decatur plan, some members may receive weekly benefits of $390 (first 6 weeks), $520 (weeks 7-12), and $650 (weeks 13-26). This will still leave a large income gap/deficit since it’s significantly less than what a Local 193 Member brings home on a 40-hour work week.
Long-Term Disability
Members receive $0 (ZERO) LTD benefits after STD ends; no monthly benefit puts 100% of your income at risk!
Life Insurance
Your current Death Benefit Fund may pay enough to cover burial expenses (if you’re participating & it would be taxed).
